Ag-Sperience began as an interactive and educational children's event that taught kids how the farmers of today work to provide us with a plentiful supply of safe and healthy foods. Participate in several agriculture-related activities that illustrate the importance of farming in our area. Kids also have the opportunity to visit live animals like llamas, the sow & piglets, and the cows in the Mooternity Ward. You might even get to watch the birth of a calf! Ag-Scursions tours must be scheduled in advance. If you represent a youth grop, daycare or day camp; call by July 9 to schedule your tour! The tour is included with gate admission and is hosted by local agricultural experts complete with a fresh glass of milk for all at the end. This is a unique opportunity to showcase Western New York agriculture to area youth featuring cows, goats, sheep, swine and more!
Upstate Niagara Cooperative Milking Parlor
Watch as the cows are milked from 5-7pm daily! Learn about the whole process of how that cold refreshing glass of milk gets into that carton and onto your dinner table! The Milking Parlor was updated in 2007 for the first time since 1974 including $75,000 worth of improvements were made to the walk-through raised parlor, which provides space to milk up to 8 cows simultaneously and features a new 1,500 gallon tank. The old tank held only 500 gallons.

Horses
Horse Shows take place each day at the Fair! Check Fair Guide for dates and times. The Equine Exhibition Hall is designed for the horse-lover! You'll be greeted by the gentle Draft Horses and Halfinger ponies. The Collins Draft Horse Ox and Pony Club members will gladly answer all of your horse-related questions. Children are invited to sit on one of these gentle giants to experience how big and gentle they are! Don't miss the Horse Pulls, sponsored by Budweiser, on Aug. 11 & 12 at noon in the Buffalo.com Grandstand.

Did you know farm animals take baths too? Check out the chicken baths at the Poultry & Rabbit Barn daily at 12 noon, the pig baths at the Ag Sperience Barn daily at 3 p.m. and the cow baths daily in the Milking Parlor at 11am (except for Augut 10 and 15).
