In 2007, Terry Nawotka of Colden, NY was named the Ultimate Fairgoer.  She was nominated by 'Fair Friend' and former Ultimate Fairgoer, Barb Brader.  The two met in Slade Park at the Fair over twenty years ago when their families were sitting at picnic tables in the same area of the park.  Ms. Nawotka takes her sons and grandchildren to the rides and looking at the exhibits. "You always can see her walking around the fair with someone, always having a good time and making sure her family does too!" stated Barb, "last year, we were there together well past dark and just hated the thought of having to go home for the last time."

Sue Montgomery of Hamburg, NY was the 2006 Ultimate Fairgoer.
Sue has been coming to the Fair for 54 years and takes vacation time from work to attend the Fair every single day. As a child, some of her favorite memories include getting a silver bullet from Lone Ranger in the Grandstand, kissing Bobby Vinton and watching the firemen’s softball games. Today, she enjoys shopping, watching the cows in the Mooternity Barn and looking at the exhibits in the Creative Arts Building.

“My family is well aware of my obsession with the Fair,” said Sue. “They all know not to plan any family gatherings during Fair time because I will not be there. I have gotten my cousin and her children hooked on the Fair. I have gotten friends in Toronto, Canada hooked to the point that they are taking time off from work to drive down to go to the Fair with their families. And everyone knows that if you are looking for me during those eleven and a half days, you will find me at America’s Fair.”

Barb Brader of Cheektowaga, NY was the 2005 Ultimate Fairgoer.
